    Snap Partner Summit 2023 Project Type Live Multicam Production Link Link to Show Client Snapchat / Mitie Tucker Event Production Digital Cinema Collective in partnership with Mitie Tucker Event Production, produced the keynote stream of the Snapchat Partner Summit 2023 live from Santa Monica, CA. The in-person live event featured CEO Evan Spiegel and several other key Snap Inc. executives talking about the company’s ever-growing popularity and slate of innovations. Massive LED screens helped tell the story, with multiple Sony Venice cameras anchored by the Funicular Goats portable control room system, capturing and broadcasting the show. The live stream went out to numerous endpoints in multiple formats, languages including ASL, simultaneously. The show was directed by Joe DeMaio and keynote executive produced by Barrett Hall.

    Anime Awards 2023 Project Type Live Multicam Production Link Link to Show Client Crunchyroll / Sony DCC had the honor of producing the 2023 Anime Awards for Crunchyroll/Sony live for the first time from Tokyo, Japan. Decided-in-part by nearly 18 million fan votes, the show presented numerous awards celebrating the best creators across the booming anime space. The show was broadcast live from Japan and presented in seven languages across YouTube and Twitch. This year’s star-studded event was produced at the highest level thanks to our US and Japan-based teams, crews, and international production partners including NEP, PRG, CT and Virgin Earth.

    Can’t Cancel Pride Project Type Live Multicam Production Link Link to Show Client iHeart Radio For Pride month, iHeartRadio and P&G brought together performances and appearances from the most influential voices in the LGBTQ+ community as well as the biggest names in culture and entertainment. The third annual event was hosted by JoJo Siwa and focused on the challenges and celebrations of, “The Year in Pride.” It showcased twelve months of community and activism, and the issues that continue to impact the LGBTQ+ community as well as intersectional messages of spirit and strength. DCC, in partnership with Casey Patterson Productions, was proud to produce the show for iHeartRadio.

    The Collective The award-winning founders and members of the Collective Morgan Kellum Founder / COO Morgan Kellum has been at the forefront of the burgeoning world of cinematic multi-camera production, helping develop the technology and systems that bring unparalleled visual quality to some of the biggest live events in the world. Kellum has played a big part in the camera integration of the last three Super Bowl Halftime Shows, helping to implement new technology to broadcast the shows live in cinema quality for the first time. Kellum’s most recent projects include the 7th Annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Tokyo, the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show, Spotify: Stream On, Super Bowl LVII Press Conferences for Apple Music & the NFL, The Weeknd: Live at SoFi Stadium, Amazon Music Live’s Thursday Night Football Concert Series, Elton John’s Live at Dodger Stadium, and Taylor Swift’s blockbuster Eras Tour film. In the past year, Kellum and the Funicular Goats have executed large arena shows for Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, The Foo Fighters Tribute Concert to Taylor Hawkins and Elton John Live at Dodger Stadium. His teams have helped create content for nearly every major platform, including Netflix, HBO, Disney, Apple, NBC and Amazon. For the past two decades, Kellum has been directly involved in the shift to cinematic capture for comedy specials, overseeing projects for comics including Sarah Silverman, Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, Steve Martin, and Dave Chappelle. Kellum studied Film and English Literature at San Francisco State University. He enjoys offering mentorship to budding filmmakers and resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Ewa, and their three young children.

    Apple Music Live - Jennifer Lopez Project Type Live Multicam Production Link Link to Clip Client Apple Music / Contrast Films Apple Music Live continued in 2024 with a performance from Jennifer Lopez live from Los Angeles. JLo performed songs from her new album, This Is Me...Now, and some of her biggest hits to a huge crowd, filmed in gorgeous cinematic multi-cam. DCC produced the show in partnership with Eventvision, Inc. for Apple Music.

    Super Bowl Halftime Show '24 Project Type Live Multicam Production Link Link to Show Client Apple Music / NFL The Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show featured Usher performing his biggest hits. The show included a marching band, choreography on skates designed by Usher, and songs that have defined his career. Live from Allegiant Stadium in Nevada, the most watched broadcast on TV included guest appearances from Alicia Keys, will.i.am, Lil Jon, Ludacris, H.E.R, and more. DCC provided producing and technical resources for the NFL, RocNation and Jesse Collins Entertainment.

    United Way: Benefit for Hurricane Relief Project Type Live Multicam Production Link Link to Trailer Client United Way On November 2, United Way assembled a star-filled lineup, including musicians, celebrity guests, and real-life heroes from the recent hurricanes for a night of hope and healing to support recovery efforts in the southeastern U.S. Artists and special guests from across genres came together for one urgent cause: supporting our neighbors when they need us most. The proceeds supported United Way's disaster relief programs, including delivering immediate aid to communities in crisis. The show was broadcast on CBS and CMT and streamed on Paramount+ with Showtime. DCC provided producing and technical resources for United Way.

  • New Music Daily: Camilla Cabello | DCC

    New Music Daily Presents: Camilla Cabello Project Type Multicam Production Link Link to Show Client Apple Music For Camilla Cabello, we captured the show in 23:98 4K UHD using a combination of 9 Arri Amiras and Alexa Minis. Additionally, we filmed with 3 iPhone 11s and added their video feeds into our Multi-View Control room. We adapted the iPhone signal using an HDMI connector, and converting the signal into an SDI feed which then piggybacked off our Fiber lines to a control room. The iPhone signal was then fed into an FS2 frame converter. From there we were able to match the 23:98 format of the Arri cameras and switch between all feeds on a 65” 4K Monitor.

Lee is a former Senior Vice President at Material Inc. - a data-driven global strategic insights agency focused on helping Fortune 500 companies solve large strategic problems, where he oversaw creative production for their consulting division. He is an investor, board member, and visionary creative executive, with over 20 years of experience in the business strategy and consumer insights industry. Lee is also a writer, producer, and creative leader, with experience building premium in-house creative departments from the ground up. He has developed and overseen creative work for major strategy and insights clients such as Google, Netflix, Meta, Amazon, Intel, Nike, HP, Converse, MTV, Lyft, and other brands. Lee earned his BA in Fine Arts from UCLA and his MFA in Film from UCLA.

    The Collective The award-winning founders and members of the Collective James Coker Engineering / Tech Management James Coker has become a staple in the fast emerging world of cinematic multi-camera production. With over 20+ years of experience, James has built an impressive resumé serving a multitude of disciplines including feature films, TV sitcoms, commercials, live broadcast, and cinema capture. During his 13 years at Panavision, he served as lead technician for featured film projects, overseeing preps and providing onsite support as needed. He has worked all over the world on projects from David Gilmore Live in Pompeii to Victoria Secret in St. Barts. James has worked on Apple iTunes Music festivals in London and was instrumental in building the camera set-up for Apple Park's debut featuring Lady Gaga. He has provided camera support for hundreds of specials and concerts for Netflix, Comedy Central, HBO, Showtime, Amazon and others.
