Morgan Kellum

Founder / COO

Morgan Kellum has been at the forefront of the burgeoning world of cinematic multi-camera production, helping develop the technology and systems that bring unparalleled visual quality to some of the biggest live events in the world.

 

Kellum has played a big part in the camera integration of the last three Super Bowl Halftime Shows, helping to implement new technology to broadcast the shows live in cinema quality for the first time.

Kellum’s most recent projects include the 7th Annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Tokyo, the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show, Spotify: Stream On, Super Bowl LVII Press Conferences for Apple Music & the NFL, The Weeknd: Live at SoFi Stadium, Amazon Music Live’s Thursday Night Football Concert Series, Elton John’s Live at Dodger Stadium, and Taylor Swift’s blockbuster Eras Tour film.

In the past year, Kellum and the Funicular Goats have executed large arena shows for Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, The Foo Fighters Tribute Concert to Taylor Hawkins and Elton John Live at Dodger Stadium. His teams have helped create content for nearly every major platform, including Netflix, HBO, Disney, Apple, NBC and Amazon. For the past two decades, Kellum has been directly involved in the shift to cinematic capture for comedy specials, overseeing projects for comics including Sarah Silverman, Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Hart, Steve Martin, and Dave Chappelle.

Kellum studied Film and English Literature at San Francisco State University. He enjoys offering mentorship to budding filmmakers and resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Ewa, and their three young children.
